On the steps of the Sea Beach Hotel six people are lounging in the sun. There is a strong family resemblance. On the top step on the left sits Will Airey and to his right Louise, his wife, with her arm raised in a greeting. To her right is a man wearing a cap. Sitting on the ledge of the porch is a woman and a man and opposite them a younger woman with fair hair. All appear more dressed up than is usual in such pictures at the beach, the men with slacks and open collared shirts.
