Bolinas Lagoon postcardEntry/Object ID
1993-678Description
B&W postcard of an overview of Bolinas Lagoon looking north. Bolinas, on the right, is populated by trees and flats extending into the lagoon and bisected by a road that follows the lagoon shoreline to the right. The hills of the Pt Reyes peninsula are visible in the background. On the strip of land opposite (now Seadrift spit) rests a single barn-shaped building with pilings extending out from it into the lagoon. There is also a sand spit on the Bolinas side that projects into the Lagoon, protecting it from the Ocean.
On the back of the postcard is written in pencil "1910's Bain de troyed." Peggy Pepper's name is also written on the back in ink.Collection
