Xerox copy of an original metal signboard cut out in shape of Indian and film negatives of it. The captions surround a rectangular center illustration; top of sign reads, "Facts & Fancies"; left side reads "Spring 1992"; right side reads "NUMBER 33"; the bottom reads "MT TAMALPAIS HISTORY PROJECT." The center illustration is, or similar copy, of old "Dipsea Highway" sign. (When Highway 1 from Sausalito to Bolinas was built, this stretch was called Dipsea Highway. ta) It shows red Indian with black hair. The feather on his head dress has the sign, DIPSEA HIGHWAY. On his yellow poncho with Indian design, Tamal Chief is written with arrow going through.Collection
