Scope and Content

Barbara remembers Stinson Beach from 1927 to 1999. She speaks of her father building the original house, its history and the social scene on weekends when she was a child. She recalls early modes of transportation to Stinson and her childhood animals - cow, horse, dogs. She describes the famous garden on the estate and the equally famous guests at their parties in the 1930-40s. She mentions the fire in 1997 and its aftermath.
