Scope and Content

Marna remembers her parents, Frank and Marjorie, and grandmother Elizabeth Airey. She recalls her childhood in Stinson and the early days of the Airey hotel/store as the social center of town. She touches on the many community events and describes life during the war years. She relates how she met and married her husband Grif (Charles) and a bit of their life together. She describes her involvement in the Allied Arts wildflower show and first ambulance corps and how they grew.
