Description

This black and white original photograph, stamped July 4, 1950 on the back, is identified as a photograph by G.M. Robertson of Oakland, Calif. There is a closeup of two young women in the foreground holding in joined hands a medal. The girl on the left has a short bob with bangs and is wearing a sweatshirt. The one on the right has curly dark hair pulled back but curling up on each side of her face at the neckline. She wears a print dress with puffed sleeves.. In the background which shows the beach at Bolinas Bay and figures in the distance on the sand or in the water, a group of 12 people are looking towards the women, who look into the camera.
