Collection of copies of 32 photographs, articles and news paper clippings from the collections of the Fairfax Historical Society were given to Kendrick Rand, our SBHS Vice -president from William Sager, the archivist of the Fairfax Historical Society in preparation for the talks and slide-show given at the SBHS Annual Meeting of 2007 held in the spring. William Sager was the guest speaker of the event and SBHS made a show using the material and also prepared the exhibit at the Historical Corner of the SB Library, titled; Sellmer Family, Inventor and Aviators. The subject of the talk at the meeting was about Jacob Sellmer and his corkscrew wing helicopter invention and other airplane building. The album, also, contains story of Jacob's son, Walter Sellmer who was the Marin County Game Warden, Sheriff and his wife who was first woman game warden and aviator.Collection
