Description

Small sepia-toned photo shows a young boy (L. Hal Airey) and girl (R. Marna Airey) kneeling in a yard with a black and white collie ("Cookie") sitting between them. Each child has their hands on a puppy who barely have their eyes open. These dogs belong to Mildred and Lester Sadler. The puppies are named Piddle and Puddle. The girl wears a short pageboy haircut and a flowered dress with a big white collar. The boy is in long pants and long-sleeve open-neck shirt with a vest. Back of photo shows date of March 13, 1935 (Bear Photo Service).
