Scope and Content

A black and white Xerox copy of photographs of tombs of Benedict Rupert Mess (May 19, 1899-Aug. 10, 1959) and his wife Anna Frances (June 23, 1905 - Dec. 2, 1968). Benedict Mess was born in Oregon and served in both WWI and WWII and Lieutenant of US Coast Guard. He lived with his wife who was a member of McKinnon family. They lived near the Mckinnon's Landing site.
