Atop a RockEntry/Object ID
1994-125-01Description
This sepia print shows five men seated astride a large rock (as if seated on an elephant, which is roughly the same size) all their bodies facing to the right. In front of the forwardmost man the rock drops off forming a kind of nose upon which is clinging another man whose body is facing the opposite direction. All the men are looking at the camera. To the left of the rock, abutting it, is another much bigger rock formation. There are boulders scattered in the foreground with a long board leaning on one of them and the ocean can be seen in the background through a gap in the rocks.Collection
