A black and white photograph of two young women sitting on the sand, fully clothed. A shoe showing from the right hand woman's skirt appears to be heeled, thin soled, and pointed toed--suitable for the city, but obviously well worn. The lighter haired woman on the left is attempting to pin up her hair. She wears a thin white blouse and a long dark skirt. The right hand woman, similarly clothed but in addition wearing a cardigan, is smiling broadly
