This black and white photograph depicts three children standing amid a forest of small christmas trees (5 to 6 feet in height). The children are gathered round a particular tree at the center of the picture. The tallest boy is to the right of the tree. He is reaching up with his right hand, touching the top of the tree. A shorter boy is standing to the left of the tree, facing it and reaching up toward the top of the tree. A third child, partially obscured by a tree in front of it, is visible to the left of the smaller boy. The two smaller children are wearing hats and jackets.
