Scope and Content

Committee Reports (House, Building & Grounds, Budget & Insurance) plus member organizations (Allied Arts, Community Church, Parent/Teacher, Progressive Club Fire Dept) continued to gives updates and a Disaster Plan came into being. Includes letter dated March 10, 1971 from Standard Oil in appreciation of volunteers who helped in oil cleanup. In 1972 talks of a town planning group began concerning growth and preservation the community. The realignment of Easkoot Creek was taken on at this time. In 1976 the SB Village Association was organized as successor to the SB Planning Group. Siting a second Firehouse in Calles was raised.
