The celebration for 1950 was discussed and recommendations were to be made to the Community Center.
Greyhound service for commuters is through Sausalito and the Club wanted a direct route to San Francisco.
The Club decided to help Scout Bill Jones attend the National Jamboree in Valley Forge, PA.
There was a flag pole placed in front of the fire house.
Greyhound changed it route so that there is now a direct San Francisco trip.
It was decided to have the 1950 celebration on July 4th with a bathing beauty contest, fireworks, deep water swim and a drawing.
Concern in presentation of the California Marine Parks and Harbor Assoc. regarding silting of Bolinas Lagoon. Bolinas people were in favor of dredging.
Beach was dirty. Need more containers, signs warning violators.
Net on Carnival was $2500.
Due to war scare Lester Sadler felt that it was out of the question that anything be done about Unit #2 of the Community Center.
Discussion about a fence on the beach erected by the Kent Estate on the Sand Spit. Questions about its legality.
In Sept. the meeting was given over to a speaker on Russia.
