Since Sept. 1959 Stinson and Bolinas schools have been combined even though there remained two districts. In 1961 there was talk of combining the districts.
Discussion of the relocation of Shoreline Highway.
Discussion of plans of the Volunteer Fire Department.
Notice of a Master Plan from the County for Bolinas and Stinson Beach.
July 4th carnival again.
"church" almost complete.
Land east of causeway to Seadrift up for sale? Needs to be a parking lot.
But then it was decided that there was ample parking already and more in future. Other ideas for the land were Sanitary treatment plant school, or a natural lagoon.
Master plan for Bolinas and Stinson was for parking east of Seadrift with drainage for highway. The club was against the idea.
The school districts were combined. But there was a tax to vote on and Mr. Lacaze urged support.
Concerns were raised about development in the Lagoon area.
Manuel fostine advised that when the county owned the state park they always kept the creek dredged. Heavy growth of willows in the creek causes silting.
Parking problems on Laurel and Belvedere.
Continuing interest in sewage survey.
Concerns about outdoor rubbish burning.
Several times during this year there was no quorum for the meetings.
There was continuing concern about flood control.
Sewage needs treatment plant and this is a problem. Lots of talk, surveys, lack of money.
It all seems frustrating, the sewage issue. How much should Stinson work with Bolinas in this?
The Volunteer Fire Dept. was asked to take over the Christmas tree.
Richard Reasoner reported that the Christmas tree was in bad condition.
The New Post Office will be ready soon.Collection
