April there was a long discussion of the Dipsea race. It was much more complex with doctors, traffic diversion, bands, rest area. Etc.
Audubon Society asked for Progressive Club support for prohibiting the discharge of firearms in the Bolinas Basin area. The Club feeling there were already laws covering this and they needed to be enforced refused to support the Society.
Discussion of stop lights at Calle del Mar and feeling that it was too expensive.
There was support for a bill limiting bill boards.
Support for extending lease of Steep Ravine Cabins.
Opposed to dredging Potato Patch because of affects on Marin beaches.
The July Carnival was well in hand under Lester Sadler.
