Arthur Volz was elected president [?????What happened to other officers?????]
Oct. 15 was the next meeting. The Anti-Litter Committee gave its report.
There was a possibility of losing the library as the building had been sold.
There were five hours of library service a week. The Progressive Club voted to support the library before the Board of Supervisors should on financing issues.
Difficulty in selecting a route for Highway 17 per the West Marin Plan generated feeling against a freeway for 17 along the ridge which would damage sensitive lands and open the area to development. An effort to divert future West Marin traffic to Highway 1 is being made.Collection
