Description

This color photograph shows the womens tug of war. The women are facing away from the camera and the line runs from the lower left hand corner to the mid right hand side of the picture. There are about 20 women on the rope. Watchers are standing on both sides of the line of women and everyone is standing in shallow water. Across the channel the Bolinas watchers and participants can be seen gathered on the beach with the Bolinas bluff in the background.
