The foreground is grassland with two eroded gullies running toward the camera. Behind the line of Panoramic Highway are the ranch buildings. There is a long, low barn on the right and a taller barn to the left of it. To the left of the barns are smaller buildings, some among the trees. All the buildings are painted white. The hillside rises behind the buildings.
