M K Morris store, on King Street beside Carrolls store.1940. The M.K. Morris Store sold confectionary goods, on the NE corner of King and Mountain. The building to the right of the picture is the wall of the Acacia Hotel. The library was in the little building connecting the Morris Store and the Acacia in 1936. The little building was later Karlee's, and is now part of the Village Restaurant. The house on the left, behind the store, was demolished to make way for the parking lot for the restaurant.
