Th SC Library was located in various buildings of downtown SC until in 1958 ,R.L. Hyslop and Dr Lloyd Green saw the need for a permanent location. The land as seen in this picture ,was donated by The Hydro Electric Commission and Don MacLeod and the new branch opened in 1959.
This location went through many conversions and additions through the years.
The Stoney Creek Library was relocated to it's current location at The Stoney Creek Municipal Centre at 777 Highway #8 in 2003 and amalgamated with the Winona branch at this time.
