Established 1869. Dana's Musical Institute Warren, Ohio, U.S.A. (musical notes) Whereas, Academic Schools have been instituted and established by custom for this end, that Men distinguished for Talent, Culture and Learning, might be honored beyond others; that it might be an advantage to them, and that the industry of others might be incited, and the study of Virtue and Art might be increased among men. Therefore, Be it Known that the Faculty of Dana's Musical Institute Honor Nellie Mae Gwynne approved by us, on account of good morals and all those traits which distinguished an individual, and who also posesses an accurate knowledge of the Art of Music, acquired in this Insitute, and by appropriate tests in Instrument and Theory, and having shown herself worthy of the highest homors of the Insitute, We constitute her AN ASSOCIATE IN THE ART OF MUSIC.
