Scope and Content

Cardboard hand held fan with images of birds and flowers. Seven segments contain the months of the year to complete the calender of 1899. First segment "Birds and Blossoms Calender 1899" the next six segments each have two months printed on them along with an image. They are secured at the handle with string through a loop and a ribbon. On the back is handwritten in script " Miss Mabel Ken to Mrs. P. L. Sutliff Dec. 25 1898 Holiday greetings."
