Description

A letter from Allen Sutliff to Levi Sutliff in respose to Levi's request in their mother's and father's letter. Allen writes about his family's health then goes on writing about brother Harvey and his lonesome situation. Allen then advises Levi in the use and construction of a harrow and advises him to sell the farm at the first chance Levi has for business on the river is much better. Allen continues with life along the Mississippi River and compares traders and workers to those found in Trumbull. He also mentions that they need a good taner and shoemaker.
