McLoughlin Bros. is considered the premier game publisher, with incredible quality lithography from the 1870s through the 1910s. McLoughlin Bros. was also well known as a book publisher. McLoughlin Bros. was bought by Milton Bradley in 1918. Some McLoughlin games were also produced under the Milton Bradley moniker after the purchase.
