Primer for young students studying penmanship, reading and spelling, published by the McLoughlin Bros. McLoughlin Bros. is considered the premier game publisher, with incredible quality lithography from the 1870s through the 1910s. McLoughlin Bros. was also well known as a book publisher. McLoughlin Bros. was bought by Milton Bradley in 1918. Some McLoughlin games were also produced under the Milton Bradley moniker after the purchase. Covers are blue paperback with black text and image of young boy and girl studying. Pages are not numbered, but contain 26 lessons in full color.
