HW Fairfield writes to Levi Sutliff about his new placement in Oberlin in the house of Rev JJ Shipherd. He mentions the happenings at Oberlin College and his appointment as delegate of the Oberlin Society to Mount Plesant and his disappointment in not seeing Levi there. Fairfield thanks Sutliff for taking back his horse for it was too expensive to keep.
