LithographContext
Lasse Åberg was born in 1940 in Hofors, Sweden. Growing up in a working class home in Stockholm, Åberg found a natural talent for drawing. When he was 15 years old, Åberg found himself going to a drawing class and thinking about art being a fulltime job. Åberg studied at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts, and Design in Stockholm starting in 1960. He became well known for lithographs, and his very detailed yet humorous illustrations. Åberg also made a name for himself in expressing his creativity through acting, directing films, graphic design, and making music. He had a successful career in all of these fields, now he and his wife Inger Åberg spend time exhibiting their art and much more at the Åbergs Museum just outside of Stockholm.Acquisition
