Part of the Independent Order of Svithiod, the Svithiod Singing Club (1893-1980) was a male chorus which performed musicals and entertained at parades, picnics, and a variety of singing competitions. The Ladies Associate Club, later the Ladies’ Guild, assisted in raising funds for the Svithiod Singing Club by participating in festivals and held a yearly event called the Värnamo Market.Acquisition
