Description

A visored Sami hat made of brilliant blue felt and decorated with red and yellow felt and rickrack. A 'visor' is the front part of a helmet which can be lifted to show the face protecting it from the brim or border of the cap. It has a large, red yarn tassel on top and a 'tassel' is an ornamental fringed knot of silk or wool. Undated.
