This is a postcard that shows a country scene in Sweden's province of Östergotland during 1915. The scene includes a house that's composed of horizontal wooden bars with a slanted roof that's composed of vertical wooden bars, a toolshed-like house that's composed of horizontal wooden bars and a slanted sheathed roof, a man who appears to be tending to a cow or steer, lots of grassland, two evergreen trees, a river and a densely forested area immediately adjacent to the latter. On the back of the postcard, the inscription, 'Torparen Karl Johan Johansson ärjar åkern på Torpet Bogölen under Fundsboda, Svinhult Socken, Östergotland, 1915.' is written on a white background in black letters.Acquisition
