Description

Boardgame entitled '"Fia" (Spelet)" made by Hultbergs Tryckeri in Osby, Sweden. The game includes a blue painted wooden container with a lid, sixteen triangular pegs, in yellow, purple, teal, and navy blue. Instructions and gamerules are written in Swedish on the back of the item.

Context

Fia, also known as Ludo, originated from the Indian game Pachisi created in the 6th century. Ludo/Fia was patented in 1896 and was adopted for many different countries including Sweden. This game is known as Parcheesi in North America.
