Context

Britta Anjou (1921-2015) was a Swedish artist active in Gothenburg. She was born in Helsingborg, Skåne, in 1912. She exhibited her works across the world including Sweden, the United States and Mexico. In Nov-Dec. 1989, she exhibited her oil paintings at the Swedish American Museum together with American wood carver Fred Cogelow.
