Found in collection, from exhibit Sweden's High Coast: Watercolors by Per Julius at the Swedish American Museum Summer, 2003. Inspired by Sweden's Höga Kusten (High Coast), an area of Northern Sweden designated as one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. The paintings are accompanied by a selection of photographs of Höga Kusten and other World Heritage Sites. The Swedish artist Per Julius, born 1951, was born in Örnsköldsvik. Known for his landscape paintings, Per Julius is influenced by the natural beauty of Sweden and the nature of his northern Swedish childhood home.
