Jan- 1974 Pioneer Mother / This beautiful sculpture depicting an immigrant mother, and her two children was carved from wood by the late Charles A. Granstrom, a member of Odin Lodge No. 10, Joliet Ill. Brother Granstrom, who died in 1965, was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1882. His occupation was that of a construction superintendent. The woodcarving was originally donated to the Svithiod Nursing Home. It is now on display at the Grand Lodge office. / born 2-6-1882-Stockholm, Sweden / joined Odin #10 10-14-07 / died 9-7-1965Type
