Context

The artist, Nils Danielson, was born in Sweden in 1872. He emigrated to Minnesota in 1902, where he bought a farm in Mahtowa. This window plane was used in to make windows for the family farm. Nils Danielson passed away in 1936 in Minnesota. The Danielson family eventually moved to Chicago, after the failure of this farm.
