This painting was an original creation by the donor and artist Molly Schiff. It was part of an exhibition at the Swedish American Museum in the fall of 2011 in collaboration with the American Jewish Artists Club (A.J.A.C.) entitled "A Gift of Hope."
Schiff dedicated this painting to Raoul Wallenberg. Wallenberg (Aug 4, 1912 - Jul 17, 1947) was an architect, businessman, diplomat, and humanitarian from Stockholm, Sweden, known for his efforts during WWII to save thousands of Hungarian Jews.Acquisition
