Membership pamphlet for the American Daughters of Sweden.Context
The American Daughters of Sweden, started in 1926, connects Swedish-American women regardless of profession, class, or generation. At its founding, members had to be American citizens of Swedish descent. The club provides scholarships for young women of Swedish descent to the University of Chicago, North Park University in Chicago, and Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. They also provide scholarships to children attending Sjounden, a Swedish language camp in Minnesota.Acquisition
