Description

Hat that is part of a boy's Swedish folk costume representing Leksand in the province of Dalarna. It is a round hat with alternating colors, red and black. The inside is lined with linen.

Context

Inger and Harold Gustafson purchased the costume for their son, Nils, in the 1940s-1950s. It was then given to the donor's mother. Around 1985, the costume was given to the donor's son.
