Description

These gloves (2022.5.3.A, .B) are part of a uniform worn by Norman D. Johnson when he served in the US Navy during WWII. The gloves are off-white with a snap button at the wrist. The inside of the buttons says " United Carr". The front has three pleats. The right glove (2022.5.3.A) has a tag on the inside that reads "Fownes Make" on one side and "Made in U.S.A. 9" on the other. Likely indicating the gloves are size 9.
