Historical Monument Marker for the Farmers and Merchants National Bank in Nocona, (1987). The bank served Nocona from 1905 to 1989 and was the oldest continuous financial bank in Nocona. It was run by 5 different fathers and sons of the McCall Family for 76 years from its start in 1905 with W.A. McCall to Cadmus Stephen McCall III, (Caddy Stephen or Little Caddy) in 1981. When marble front was removed from building at NE corner of Clay and Elm Street, the marker fell and was damaged. It was given to the museum and restored by Chris Woolsey of Chris Restores in 2026.
