Mounted Chinese stone rubbing of Zuo Zongtang’s “Tiandi Zhengqi” — “The Righteous Qi of Heaven and Earth.” The four large characters were written by the late Qing statesman and military leader Zuo Zongtang and are associated with a stele dated to Guangxu 11, 1885. The lower inscription contains a colophon by He Ruilin. The work expresses the Confucian ideal of moral integrity, loyalty and uprightness.
此件为中国石刻拓片挂轴，拓印晚清名臣左宗棠所书 “天地正气” 四字。原碑年代为清光绪十一年，即1885年，下方小字为贺瑞麟跋文。题语体现儒家传统中忠义、刚正与浩然正气的精神，具有历史与文化象征意义。
