This audio artwork by Marie Bannerot McInerney was included in the Tarble Art Center's 2020 outdoor digital exhibition Press Play. The soundscape is simultaneous.y and ambivalently haunting and soothing as the listener encounters a human voice humming amidst the tactile sounds of something unnamed falling apart. With a title taken from the lyrics of Laurie Anderson's song, Walking and Falling, the work recognizes a shared fragility between the social, political, and natural world as well as our adaptability and potentially within spaces.Location
