5 half aprons and 1 full apron. Black and white "gingham" checkerboard pattern (1/8" x 1/8")- white stitching "X" pattern on top band- one sewn front pocket- and 6-1/2" band 2" from bottom of apron. The checkerboard pattern of "Gingham" have been a challenge women needing aprons but were a fad in Arizona circa 1959-1970. These are examples of endeavors to beautify the "necessary" by cross-hatching. See original attached note for additional information.Collection
