Young male portrait; likely done by Trank while a student at the University of Nebraska; head-on/frontal, done in graphite; loosely drawn hair, rendered features of face and down to neck, slowly becoming minimal and loose at base of figure’s neck and shoulders. Signed ‘Lynn, 1938’ in pencil, lower right corner.
