Kendra has been knitting since she was 10 to 12 when a woman started teaching her and her friends. She soon knit from pattern books of the 1960s, and by the time she was 16, she could knit while reading. After college, she stopped knitting for a few years but picked it up again and found inspiration in pattern books and magazines. Karen began designing patterns and is now casting about for a new piece to knit with her new yarn stash!
