Description

Small ball darner with small cone coming out its side. Ball sits on egg-shaped handle which has a circular base. Ball is painted to resemble a chicken's head, with cone painted orange for its beak. Egg-shaped handle is a broken egg that the chick is sitting in, and base is painted green with flowers. Egg is hollow and holds a spool with room for three threads and is hollow in the middle. Darner has one pin, one needle, and one diaper clip. Cover for this holder is a piece of wood for a thimble to sit. Egg is placed on top of thimble, causing the chick's head to pop up slightly.
