Description
"This publication was prepared as a companion to the exhibit of Turkish Towel Embroideries at Fiberworks November 7 to December 3, 1976. The embroideries in this collection were gathered by Carèl and Neal Snyder at Oakland and by Marilyn and Walter Denny of Amherst, Massachusetts between 1965 and 1975. In addition, a few choice embroideries have been loaned for the Fiberworks exhibit from the private collections of Manya and Barry Bertram of Los Angeles and Shirley and Paul Weber of Orinda. Several of these embroideries are described in this text."
