From the book: "This is an elaboration of Mrs. Montague's Pattern; and not a very elaborate elaboration, although it may look so at first glance. The diamonds are simply framed by a triple Lace Trellis slanting first outward and then inward. Though easy to work, the pattern has a lot of sparkle."
