Notes

Denise’s mother taught her how to both knit and crochet when she was about 12 years old, but she always preferred knitting. Her first projects were garments, not scarves! Throughout the years she has been to fashion design school, designed and produced 17th Century reproduction bedding and window treatments, worked as a bridal seamstress, and worked as a pattern-maker at a couture house. More recently she returned to school for a degree in Graphic Design, which she also loves to do. She purchased the yarn for this swatch and started knitting it while visiting her daughter in Pittsburgh. She is newly a grandmother and is excited to pass on her love of this craft! Denise’s mantra is: “I’d rather be knitting!”
