Fancy moss stitch latticeEntry/Object ID
2020.1.466Description
From the book: "This pattern has an unusual three-stitch cross from the wrong side in Rows 1 and 9, which imparts a slightly spiral pull to the diagonal ribs of the lattice. If desired, the reverse cross can be omitted from Rows 1 and 9, instead working these three stitches simply "p1, k1, pl". The resulting pattern will be a most attractive Moss Stitch Hourglass."Collection

Linda learned to knit from her mother and neighbor when she was big enough to hold knitting needles. Now, over 60 years since, she hasn’t stopped knitting! She enjoyed knitting this swatch, as she has had Barbara Walker’s books for nearly 40 years. In addition to knitting, Linda learned to weave and spin in 2014 and now teaches it to others. Linda also has a fine arts degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, and spent 25 years as a visual artist.Lexicon
